Financing your purchase

Accommodation businesses don't fund like a house. The lender is buying the income as much as the bricks — so the deposit you need swings hard by asset class and structure. Here's how it works, and who lends on what.

What's an LVR?

Your Loan-to-Value Ratio is the slice of the price the bank lends — the rest is your deposit (equity). Lend $1.95m on a $3m business and the LVR is 65%. The lower your LVR, the more lenders will play and the better your terms. Drag the deposit to see it move.

Anti-money-laundering checks, without the mystery.

Buying an accommodation business involves obligations under Australia's Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) laws. ResortBrokers is required to verify the identity of buyers and the source of funds before contracts proceed. Your broker walks you through exactly what's needed early — so verification never holds up your purchase.
