§ About · What our clients say · in their words

6 transactions.
6 stories.

Not a star-rating wall. Clients describing one transaction in their own words — what they came in needing, what we did, what the outcome was. Names attached, except where they asked us not to.

§ 01 · Motels.

Coastal NSW · 2024

Margaret & David Chen
Vendors · Pacific Drive Motel
Placed by Trudy Crooks

We weren't ready to sell. We were ready to listen. Trudy gave us the room to figure that out.

We had three appraisals in twelve months and felt pushed by all of them. ResortBrokers came in last and didn't push at all. They told us the price they thought it would settle at, the price they could list at, and the gap. Two years later we sold at the higher number. The wait was the right call.

§ 02 · Apartment Hotels.

Melbourne CBD · 2025

Adamir Group
Buyers · Melbourne CBD apartment hotel
Placed by Alex Cook

The first broker who actually told us what was wrong with the deal.

Other brokers walked us through the upside. ResortBrokers walked us through the downside first — the body-corp politics, the lender-comfort gap, the under-investment in the lobby refurb. We bought it anyway, with our eyes open. That's the value.

§ 03 · Caravan Parks.

Sunshine Coast · QLD · 2024

Helen & James Tucker
Vendors · Noosa Holiday Park
Placed by Nathan Eades

Forty-one years of running the park, ten of trying to leave. ResortBrokers got us out clean.

We had been told the park was unsaleable as a going concern. ResortBrokers reframed it as a redevelopment-with-cash-flow play. The buyer who turned up was the right buyer. Settlement was in October.

§ 04 · Management Rights.

Tropical North QLD · 2023

Anonymous
Vendors · Whitsunday MR

They knew the body-corp before we did. That saved us six months.

Half of MR transactions die at the body-corp consent stage. Our broker had already worked with this committee on a previous deal. The consent came through in three weeks. The buyer's lawyer is still talking about it.

§ 05 · Hotels & Resorts.

Tropical North QLD · 2024

Roberto & Elena Mancini
Vendors · Trinity Beach Resort
Placed by Miguel Burgos

Twelve years to build it. Three months to sell it. Done properly.

We needed an offshore buyer who understood resort math. Miguel found us a Singaporean group within six weeks and ran the negotiation in two languages. The settlement was clean. The handover, cleaner.

§ 06 · Backpackers.

Coastal NSW · 2023

Sarah Williams
Vendor · Byron Backpacker Lodge

I needed someone who would talk to me like an operator, not a unit.

I called five brokers. Four wanted to know my price. One wanted to know how the business worked. That broker sold it.
